The theme of inspiration was the "Polesine Territory," place located in northern Italy, and place of origin to the client company. The particularity of being located in an area divided between two rivers (Adige and Po), was the key element of the whole project. The rivers in fact take on a leading role, and their physical profile has been decinate to develop products that can be parameterized (modifiable by size and proportions) to satisfy more needs or to achieve, starting from the same idea, different types of objects.
It is then proposed a kit consisting of a centerpiece containing the profiles of the rivers, transformable into one series of 4 single-seater accessories thanks to the addition of metal sides, 4 components with function of placeholder or menu door showing the river Adige and 4 modules coasters, transformable into trivets, evoking the river Po.
After the design and graphic modeling process, the products were recreated using a 4-axis milling machine, laser and waterjet cutting machines, preferring solid waxed wood and cork.
