about.
I 'm born in Rovigo in 1981.
I graduated in industrial design in Padua in 2003.
In 2005 I created my own menswear STREET brand called "miniMALINsm. Fashion wear for different people."
In 2009 I collaborated with several fashion designers and ateliers including:
. STIMAMIGLIO ATELIER.
. NATHù Italian Biocouture.
. CARLO CONTRADA.
In 2011 I work at Alberto del Biondi (a factory of innovation and creation of prototypes for the global fashion industry based in Padua, Italy) where I developed 2 product collections (bags and small leather goods) for the well-known brand TOMMY HILFIGER .
2013 is the year of industrial design in the wine industry. I create a luxury capsule-collection of plexiglass bottle holders called "The Exhibitors Malin. Furniture for your wine.", a futuristic and contemporary design line.
In 2015 i create '"MICHELE MALIN DESIGN studio", a product design brand with 3D printing applications.
In 2016 born "MIRROR LAMP project" a visionary lamp that combines art and functionality, through an illusion between light and mirroring material. I present the 'MIRROR LAMP Trilogy' Capsule Collection at the MAISON & OBJET fair in Paris and, next, at the SALONE DEL MOBILE fair in Milan, at the EUROLUCE 2017 section. In Milan, I also presented the latest novelty: 'IMPRilight'; a wall lamp made of plexiglass, created by a special play of light and material voids.
In 2017 I won the "best design project" award, creating a series of home-based instruments that combine tradition and innovation, through the use of parametric software such as Rhinoceros + Grasshopper. In October of the same year I selected for the VENICE DESIGN WEEK to exhibit 2 lamps (MIRROR LAMP and IMPRilight) on the main floor of the hotel Saturnia & International, located in S. Marco.
In 2018 I start a collaboration with the company MYWOOD in Rovigo, where I propose myself as a designer of luxury furnishings for the private sector and for the contract channel.
